Site Supervisor - Highways

A major £30m highways scheme are offering a start next week for the next 12-18 months.

The project works include road widening and junction improvement to support the development of future housing and employment. Offering exposure to large earthworks packages, road re construction, kerbs, drainage, signage, VRS and surfacing packages,

This role will suit a supervisor who will be happy working under the guidance and direction of a Works Manager to oversee sub-contractors.

Duties will include:
• Supervision of sub contractors work for safety and quality
• Keeping records and monitoring progress
• Production of permits to work
• Ensuring the project meets deadlines by managing the programme
• Completing environmental and health and safety site inspections
• Start of shift briefs, tool box talks and daily diaires

You will be required to hold a current SSSTS and CSCS card, ideally first aid and previous experience working on highways projects.
